Fourth-generation Chinese noodle restaurant at Jalan Presgrave in George Town (谭记炒河粉). Thum Kee has been serving Penang diners since 1981, now in its fourth generation of family ownership. The kitchen's specialties are char hor fun (silky flat rice noodles stir-fried with egg, seafood, and dark soy in a hot wok) and Hokkien Char (thick yellow noodles in a rich prawn-pork stock).
