Sood (Thai for 'the best') is Chef Ton's first restaurant outside Bangkok, opened January 2025 in a meticulously restored 150-year-old Penang heritage building on Lebuh Farquhar. Chef Ton is the proprietor of Bangkok's Michelin two-starred Le Du and Nusara, both ranked in the World's 50 Best Restaurants. Sood Penang was named one of World's 50 Best 'Ten Restaurants to Book in 2025'.
