Authentic Japanese restaurant in Tanjung Bungah. Kōgai (光外) opened October 2024 and is led by a Japanese chef with over 40 years' experience including five-star hotel stints in Japan and Malaysia. The restaurant emphasises precision and authenticity across a menu of carefully prepared seasonal Japanese dishes — sashimi, grilled fish, Japanese appetisers, and specialty items — using the same standards expected of high-end Japanese dining in Japan, with produce sourced from premium Japanese suppliers.
