One of George Town's surviving old-school kopitiams, famous for charcoal-toasted kaya butter toast, half-boiled eggs, and strong kopi-o. Marble table tops, wooden chairs — the atmosphere alone is worth the visit. Closes mid-afternoon so come early. Reviews mention char kway teow, hor fun, hokkien mee, prawns and kuay teow teng.
