MICHELIN Bib Gourmand 2025-recognised koay teow th'ng (flat rice noodle soup) stall at Lebuh Clarke in George Town — founded in 1977 by the late Mr. Lim Choon Seng and now carried on by his son Mr. Lim Kah Beng and daughter-in-law Lee Lili in its second generation. Specialises exclusively in koay teow th'ng: delicate flat rice noodles served either in a crystal-clear, naturally sweet pork bone and chicken broth (soup version) or dry with house sauces and toppings. Simple, understated, and deeply comforting. A pillar of George Town's morning noodle scene for nearly 50 years. Open Monday and Wednesday to Sunday 7am–2pm. Closed Tuesdays. Non-halal. Reviews mention meatballs, pork balls, steam chicken and pork tendon ball.
